♡Happy birthday to me♡

Even tho it has been couple of days from it - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
I must say I had a pretty awesome birthday, and it still aint over!

At exactly midnight, my roommates Eva, Mery and Nika  surprised me with a 'tiramisu' cake , and Mery was playing her guitar while everyone singed the 'happy birthday' song. It was super cute and adorable.

For 4 years now (or something like that) I have this new -let's call it - tradition, and on each birthday I make a new tattoo. And this year was no different, except that this one was made by the great Marc Sailor who made an excellent job.

(Marc Sailor's instagram picture)

I spent most of the day in the shop, which was fun,  so in the evening I was way to exhausted (believe it or not) to party, but no worries, we had a blast the next day - the wild Thursday.
The problem was that on Friday I had a dinner to attend to in honor of the video spot (the one I'm in) of Brace Yourself and it's premiere. The dinner was in the beautiful Faro, and even tho it was hard, Mery and I made it safe and sound and IN TIME, haha.
It was a fun and happy ride, and all we could think off was how fulfilled with love we are, not because of a person, just for life in general, we just had a great feeling, and we weren't wrong.
The dinner was fun, with all the  crew who participated on the video, and as a cherry on the top - at the end of the dinner we watched the video we've been all expecting so long. A lot of work and patience has been invested in this project, and I must say I am proud of you guys, all of you. Good job

So here you go the video

After we all went out and had simply a blast. It was a great great great weekend and I laughed so much, and I can't believe how welcome I feel each time I go there and visit them. I can say I am glad I had this opportunity, not just to be part of the video, but also meeting all of this people who made such a great impact on me and becoming friends with them.

it was really dark - which explains the weird dots :D

Mornings in Faro <3

All in all, I had a great birthday, great few days, and it keeps on going.

Mery, who also has her birthday in a few days, and I are waiting for all of our friends to come back so we can make a proper big ass party!!

But anyways, about my styling, haha! I wanted to make it simple and grungy with a Ralph Lauren cotton sweater and a pair of Zara jeans who I ripped off around the knee area.
The Shearling jacket/coat  I am wearing is vintage and it's my mom's from the 80's or something like that.
I totally love it - it's probably the most warm thing I own, and I am never ever cold in it.
And this time with Eva we tried to make something different again. I like this alternative editorial fashion, where you can do whatever you want, and something less is more. I love those 'flash' photos lately, like the ones that Terry Richardson has - for example.
And I have a great page who is just about that, and collects all the best alternative editorial fashion photos around the globe, the most creative ones - SCR783
And we've invented a new tradition - at the end of each photo-shooting, we have to make a crazy photo together.

So there it is folks ;)

I ♡ HOLO

The hologram clothing has lately caught my eye. It first happened when I saw the Blumarine collection of Fall012, and for the second time  in Milan, while wondering through the streets I noticed a pair of hologram creeper  shoes , and I am still mad at myself for not buying them then.

Blumarine F012

Then I tried to find them on our beloved internet, and BINGO! I found a pair of great hologram shoes I would LOVE to own. But that's not all - I also found some great sweatshirts, tees, bags, beanies, all sorts of stuff.
When I see hologram I instantly remember 'unicorns' and all the sweet stuff, haha. And you must admit, it's nice to look at, kind of hypnotizing!

1. pixiemarket hlogram platform brogues,  2.  I don't know, I just fond the picture,  3.  UNIF
4.  NIKE AIR holographic shoes - found them on ebay for 200$,  5.  mrgugu hologram beanie, 5. UNIF hologram backpack

1. UNIF holo jumper, 2. mrgugu holo sweatter, 3. neogram sweatshirt also from UNIF

It seems that the hologram fever is getting popular by each day. Altho it aint fresh news, I found a hologram collection on FOREVER 21, but for some unknown reasons, there's a note that says 'items are currently not available. Please check back later", so yeah, I can't tell you more. But I do have a preview from the 2011 holographic show they did.

(Forever 21)

Still, the one who has taken my breath away is Burberry  with their holographic fashion show who made me drop a tear (literally).

(Burberry)

Now, back to 'street' stuff.haha.
UNIF has made a quite little collection out of holographic stuff. And good too.
Another interesting shopping page is Mr. GUGU & Miss. GO http://mrgugu.com/ , if you like fun and cute hats, sweatshirts, leggings, etc, and there are some good prices too!

In LOVE with this wiccan UNIF dress

Another item that caught my eye are the kimonos, those dark "wiccan" style ones. And lately I've been longing for dresses, don't know why, but I just need some new dresses, cause I haven't bought those in a while!
So I made again a wish-list, so I can scratch some stuff off now that is my bday, muahahha *evil laugh*.

1. wiccan kimono- unif ,   2.  sparks fly kimono - NASTY GAL,   3. sheer caress kimono -NASTY GAL

1. acting out dress - NASTY GAL, 2. sequin dress- iridescent - NASTY GAL,  3. ride all night faux leather dress - NASTY GAL, 4. break it down dress - NASTY GAL

It's kind of funny, lately or am I exaggerating with colors and I am dressed in some brightish colors/prints, or really dark wiccan/dark/rock.
And these days I am almost never leaving my building without a cap or a beanie, the weather is so shitty, that any effort in favor of the hair is totally useless.

MUST HAVE item, I just died when I saw it

You can never go wrong with black!

Today was a good day. We had finally a little bit of sunshine, so we used the opportunity to do our usual creative stuff in the beautiful park of Caldas.
I took my 'literature' a.k.a. magazines  with me, to choose my favorite designers(most of them ready-to-wear-designers) for the upcoming season(s).

Later I continued the work but this time sitting on my comfy and warm bed using the power of internet.
And as we all know, you end up opening 100 of tabs and windows, ending up on a totally different page, in my case it always ends up with shopping.

As I was saying, my little eye spotted a great page, which probably aint a new information for some of you, but for those who didn't know anything about it - it's a page with all kind of designers with their sails, and if you dig a bit, I bet you can find some great things for affordable prices.

In the past years I've been changing my style a lot, not just my style but my complete figure. And I got so in to it, specially combining stuff I would never dare before.
I like to try new things, putting cheap clothes with more expensive ones and spicing it up with some details. But since I don't earn my money yet, and I can't act like a spoiled brat, I learned how to shop and shop with quality so I can get the best out of it, and hey - still learning, haha. And I believe there are thousands of young folks who can't afford expensive stuff, especially with the nowadays economics, so why not share a few tips and sites where you can find your fav stuff under lower prices.

I've also decided to make my wish-lists and share them with you, and if I know where to get them, I'll make sure to share that with you too.

As a tribute to Moschino's 30th anniversary I decided to pick my fav peaces that Jeremy Scott did for Moschino show Fall 2014, the new creative director ;)

1. Joyrich golden backpack,   2. fresh I am FUKK Jacket,   3. Zara ( I have a thing for 'uniformed' prints),   4. 90's pop stars tee O-MIGHTY clothing,   5.bubble butt cop tee O-MIGHTY,    6. Divinity sweater Svpply,    7.  Runaway Karen Walker necklace

So, now about my outfit. I am wearing jumper with spikes from ZARA, which I bought last year (in man's section, lol), and this awesome leather (well, imitation of it)  "sweatpants", also from ZARA, and yes, I finally found them. If I were in a club, I would prolly put a simple black top, cause hey, you can never go wrong with black.

I found those  leather high ankle dark green  sneakers shoes  in Lisbon, and I fell totally in love with them. They are from JANET SPORT. Since I didn't found my nike jordans shoes that I wanted.

I was torn between those and ARMANI sneakers, which were on sale with a ridiculous low price, but my dad kept telling me that I look like I am wearing orthopedic shoes, so yeah, you know the rest of the story, haha.

This necklace I found also in ZARA while waiting in the line to pay for my pants, haha.

The cap is a BILLABONG snapback cap, and I found it with my dad in Peniche when we got lost in an alley, so since we were lost and in front of a shop, why not check it, haha.
The shot was taken after our photography exam, on our way home, and we spotted one of the numerous destroyed and abandoned buildings. Eva got excited immediately, especially when she saw all the crazy shadows that were going on inside of the building.

It's nice to work with Eva, each time we are working together we are getting more and more comfortable with each other and the pictures keep getting better. She understands me when I TRY to explain my concept (TRY with caps cause I always pick the most difficult way of explaining stuff and I always end up confusing the person listening), and it always works. So heads up for Eva, gonna keep her for a while as my personal photographer, haha :P
Joke aside, she is really great! Good job ;)

Oh and BY THE WAY, in case you were wondering which is that super awesome lipstick I've got, it's MAC's cosmetics, named DIVA, and it's the best lipstick and color ever!

MUCH love,
Viktoria

Family and Lisbon

The 10th of January I came back to the beautiful Portugal, and this time I brought my parents with me, which was super awesome - to get 10 more extra days with my family.
They stayed in Caldas, in a hotel near me, and my dad rented a car so we can see as many things as possible, since I haven't seen the majority of things here in Portugal. We had only 5 days, and those 5 days were my final days in school, which was  a bit tricky cause I was torn between projects and traveling around with my family, but still we've seen some pretty cool stuff.

The first day we went to see the beautiful Lisbon  we took the tour bus who takes u all around the city and has some stop points where you can go off the bus and explore that particular part of the city and when u are done, u just wait on the station for the bust to come again. It's the best way to see everything and you can use the ticket for 2 days. We didn't had that much time to explore it all, and the weather didn't do us any favors too.

On the bust you get some earphones which you plug in the seats and then you just listen to the whole Lisbon story that explains everything you see while cruising around with the bus. In the background of the story was playing their traditional music - Fado (which means 'destiny' - 'fate') and it's like a traditional portuguese music that goes way back to the 1820s and it's characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, often about the sea or the life of poor. I got carried away, so I didn't heard the most part of the text, but it's ok, since me and the girls are planing another trip and this time we are gonna stay for the whole weekend!

Anyways, the music is beautiful, and it completely fitted the weather we were having! We also wanted to try some traditional portuguese food, but somehow we ended up in an irish pub/restaurant where I ate the best salad of my life hahahha

My little jewel <3

My daddy being a total tourist <3

Largest bridge in Europe

Lisbon is really gorgeous, and if you have the chance, you should visit it, cause there are just too many things to see, and you can totally get lost in to it for 4 days I believe, haha. Oh and the shopping, don't get me started on it, it's UNBELIEVABLE haha.

Colombo is Portugal’s largest shopping center (and in Europe), as well as the largest mall in the Iberian Peninsula. It houses an impressive 420 stores and more than 60 restaurants. But since there was no time, everything was pretty much in a rush, so I think I need another weekend in Lisbon, to see it all + I totally want to dedicate 1 whole day to shopping and taking pictures of fashionable Lisbon people.

We also went to see Peniche, which is on the coast, I believe I already posted and wrote something about it (I believe, haha). My parents were amazed and they fell in love with the sandy beaches but also promised me that they shall never swim in the Ocean (my dad, like me , is very afraid of the sharks ahaha).

The place they were most impressed by was Obidos. The name means something like 'fortified city' and it is situated on a hilltop, encircled by a fortified wall.

All around the little place u can see examples of medieval architecture and it's a very popular tourist destination. In March they will also have a chocolate festival, which I am totally gonna see and write about, haha.

My parents described it as magical, as a perfect place to be (once you are older and u want peace haha).

Looks like this
p.s. picture wasn't taken by me, took it from the internet

They had some Christmas thing so those were the left overs I guess, It looked like an elf town

Love you so so much

The pictures were taken by me, some with my camera some with iphone, and be sure I am gonna make a photoshooting in Lisbon, be sure of that.

Oh, and my dad was so amused by the fact that Portugal is a 'cock' country, that he bought all sorts of little presents in that shape, haha, my dad <3

Shots time with my family, it was so fun <3

All in all was short but sweet, and it was our first big trip as a whole family, and I enjoyed every second of it, and of-course wish they could have stayed longer. Miss them so much :/
