Welcome to Portugal

me and viktor <3 (from UNKNOWN festival)

So, it has been long since I've updated this thingy! But I had loads of stuff to do for school + packing and doing stuff for Portugal! So, yeah, did all of my exams, went to the UNKNOWN festival, and it was amazing! It has been long since I felt so relaxed and happy! I was with a couple of friends who made those 2 days amazing! Laughed so much that my tummy hurt, haha. It's a UK festival (I believe) and it is situated in Rovinj, Croatia. What I loved about this festival is that there weren't so many people, well, not as usual, and I got to dance without my feet getting crashed - which is pretty damn awesome. So, after my exams, me and my 3 schoolmates went to an exchange program to Portugal - Caldas da Rainha. It was my first time in the airplane, and the first time I had to deal with airports - it's awful!!!! Had to leave a bag, cause obviously I had one too many, lost half of things, but in the end they were found! When we arrived we had to sleep on the airport cause it was 1 in the morning and at that time we couldn't arrange our accommodation in the girls dorm. It was very uncomfortable must say, haha! But yeah, we slept a bit and hanged so it wasn't that bad in the end!
First couple of days we were eating from the pots cause, even tho we are in a dorm, u have to bring your own plates and pots and all that stuff including, so yeah, we had to do a major shopping for all the supplies! We were totally gipsy like those few first days, haha.

And now about the school - I am so amazed with their school, it's huge and it looks like an american campus! They have all types of courses including textile design, u can make your own t-shirts, a lot of auditorium places, and great photographic equipment! The town itself looks a bit like California, hills and palms everywhere! We haven't been around that much yet, cause the weather is pretty much shitty all the time, but nevertheless it's not that bad, and not that cold! We will have the chance to attend the ROXY surf competition, which is 7 km's away from our place. For now we are staying in the girls dorm, but we've already found a great apartment - each of us has her own room, we also have a big living room, big kitchen and bathroom, which is a totally win situation. And hope to get internet soon, cause for now I am hanging in the supermarket bar, where they have access to wifi! I have to say that I am pretty much amused with their houses and buildings - each is different, with a different texture, color and type of building in the end (as you can see in the photos).
Didn't had time yet to make some new stylings and  pictures, but will, very soon, in a few days ;) (with the new equipment and amazing places, haha ).
I've seen loads of fashionable people, with great sense of style. Another thing that is kinda weird - most of people can't speak english or they barely speak it, the only friend who's english is strong and understandable is our erasmus buddy Francis, but yeah, he is american, so that explains a lot. He is a pretty much awesome guy, who showed us around the school and the city.

So I will keep u updated, cause now I am a bit in a hurry, since I have been sitting here for 2 hours already! haha
P.S stylings and everything with it will be coming soon! haha!
Much Love,
Viky

DIY cannabis tee!

So,today, between my study break, I had some DIY time! I wanted to make a cannabis tee, but since I didn't find any fabric paint in the house, I just used regular paint spray! I looked through forums if you could do that, without washing it off later, and yes, it seems it doesn't come off that easily, which I figured it out after I couldn't wash the paint from my fingers - so kids, be wise, use GLOVES!!!
First I draw a cannabis leaf on a paper, than redone it on a thicker paper! My plan in the beginning was to spray the inside of the leaf, not around, but since I lost my patience cause I couldn't find my scalpel and an easier way to cut it out, I did it this way. Promise I will find a way to make it the other way around too, haha!
so then I just put it on the shirt and sprayed it first from very close, so u can see the details (not everywhere) and then after I was done, I sprayed from distance those white spots, and be sure to wipe your cannabis leaf cause otherwise u will have some strange dot's like I did, cause the paint was leaking from the leaf! Be wise kids, and be more prepared than I was, lol! Yeah I am a bit clumsy at times!
and if you spray yourself, u can wash it off with some nail polish remover, soap won't work, trust me!!
And be sure to let it dry for at least 2 days!
I will prolly pimp it up a bit when it gets dry, but some pink border around the neck area (with fabric paint!!!) and maybe I'll cut the sleeves off, but not sure yet, gotta try it tho!
nevertheless, I will add an pic while wearing it, and when it will be, obviously, done!
Hope you like it!!
Much love,
Viktoria <3

Blurred lines

So, I finally changed my wall!! no, haha joking! just got some thick paper for a project, so figured it out I could change my background ( yeah I know you can do it in photoshop too, but now I really don't have the time to play with photoshop)!
Why blurred lines? Well, it's one of my faw songs this summer, but Miley Cyrus totally ruined it for me! haha, no joking, can't ruin such spectacular song!! But she did gave me nightmares, that is true!
Dunno what's going on with the girl, but I believe she is going through "that awkward stage in your life" when, just before you get to grow up a little (in your mind, not by age), you do a few stupid things and lead this crazy way of livin' cause you don't care and the world can f*** themselves. Unfortunately her awkward period of life was seen by the whole freakin' world. Which made me think about self-esteem. Oh, but she wasn't the only one who made me think about it!!
My friend showed me this youtube video of this crazy-amazing-very down to earth girl from  L.A.!
And she is talking about confidence in one of her videos, and it's totally true, everything that she says.
In the past I was so freakin' concerned with what who's thinking about me, how do I look in someones eyes, why someone doesn't like me, and was kinda bitch crazy! But then u reach this point in your life when you give yourself a big slap in the face and ask your self - wtf bitch??
I mean, I know what my virtues are, and I fer sure know what my vices are, so I try to work on both of them! But not cause of society, but cause of myself, cause I will have a better life, not you, I WILL!!
And some things will never change, I am who I am, don't like it, bye bye. I will always have strong opinions about something, will try to look the other way, but usually my feeling about stuff never plays tricks on me! And my life is soooo much better now - now that I can show my middle finger to everyone, cause I really, truly, couldn't care less. In fact, things that bothered me before, make me laugh now, and it's so much better! I don't call myself freakin' buddha, haha, I just learned some things, - and hey, I keep learning! I always knew I should care, but couldn't break it inside of me, and it kinda happened in a day, just "puff" gone! ofc we all have ups and downs, and days we feel invincible and days we feel like losers, and with that our confidence balances, but at least once u have broken it inside of you, that type of barrier, it's much much easier to get up on your feet again!
So watch her vid, she will explain it even better! And btw - great job girl! And I was surprised that u are from L.A.!!

Oh, and now about my clothes - haha! So, here I am wearing a bodysuit I never got to wear actually! And it's from Bershka I believe, for 5 euros only! love cool cheap stuff!
well, those shorts I had them already and they are Tom Taylor's! And for the evening, when it gets a bit  breezy, u can put a jacket on, jeans could work too, or a blazer, omg pink blazer!!! or as I did, a fluffy jacket!!! (it's awesome cause it's really warm and soft). Told you I have a thing for fluffy clothes! And be expecting loads of them muahahhaha!
Well, today I'll try to make a DIY cannabis tee, but ONLY if I finish in time my essay, remember kids - school comes first! hahah!
So be good, and if I'll make it, I'll post it ofc, and make pics of step by step, so u guys can try it at home

Loooooove,
Vikheey

Photoshooting #2

So, here it is as promised, a few more snapshots! Hope you like it!
Love,
Viktoria

Old stuff, new stuff!

So, today I ordered a bunch of stuff from Nasty Gal, Romwe and ebay - I became a master in finding stuff and buying smart, which I didn't knew before. As I've said, I was playing it safe before, and buying stuff randomly, like didn't stop to think for a second - hey, will I ever wear this, can I combine it, no, I just went with it, even tho I wasn't quite sure about it.
So I finally got a lot of jewelry, some new great caps, jerseys and pants! Oh, and Jeffrey Campbell shoes! Finally! My never-ending struggle with shoes, I am very complicated when it comes to shoes! I always need a lot of time before I actually buy them, and whenever I go shopping for shoes, I never ever find them, so SOLESTRUCK iz the perfect solution for me.
But, u shall see, u shall see :D

So, here I am actually wearing a baseball t-shirt I bought in highschool  in TOP SHOP, before they closed it (here, in my country, ofc). And I am actually wearing it more now than in highschool. I found these lovely  salopette pants in FORNARINA, and I loooove those kind of pants. I was actually furious some time ago, when I found out that my old totally 90's beggy farmer pants/salopette were gone! VANISHED! Well they were my dad's wife pants, when she was pregnant (lol) , but in my Eminem faze (yes we all had an Eminem faze, even tho now I hate him, ok ,hate is a strong word - I dislike him :D ) I borrowed them - took them - and after her friend got pregnant, she borrowed them to her. She didn't know that I was wearing them, actually, she couldn't believe I was wearing them haha!
And like that, she also gave away all those super kewl stuff my dad used to wear in college, like - college t-shirts, american flag t-shirts, old-school 80's t-shirt with fluorescent signs and writings, and stuff like that! My dad could never do that obviously, he is like me, too attached to things, haha! And yes, I shall never ever through my good clothes and cool stuff, cause everything comes back - sooner or later!

But I was a good girl this weekend! No matter how much attached I am to my things, I did save some stuff for the red cross! I took out of my clothes stuff that I really can't use, or that it doesn't fit - too big or too small, and I packed it all up! Yeeeey :)

Much love,
Vikhey <3
